I'm New
to Podcasting. How Do I Start?
Podcasting (personal on-demand broadcasting)
is a way to receive audio files over the Internet. Many content
providers, including Total Team Solutions, offer podcast feeds at no
cost. You can listen to these files on your computer or load them
onto your MP3 player so you can take them with you.
The Podcasting application can automatically check for updates,
providing you with current content. If you’d like to take an audio
file with you, you will need a portable digital device (like the
iPod shown at the top of this screen).
All you need to get started is podcasting
software. An MP3 player, though nice to have, isn't necessary.
• iTunes
(Windows/OS X)

• Juice
(Windows/OS X/Linux)

• jPodder
(Windows)

• iPodderX
(OS X)

Once you download and install the software, add
one of TTS's podcast feeds. Subscribe by simply cutting and
pasting the URL provided above into the Podcasting application. In
iTunes you can find this option under the "Advanced" menu as
"Subscribe to podcast." You are now subscribed to the Podcast and
can listen to the audio feeds at will. The podcasting
software will automatically check for updates and download the files
to your computer so you can load them onto your MP3 player.
